Tgard K52 is a high thermal and dielectric performance insulating mat consisting of a ceramic-filled phase change compound coated onto MT Kapton film.
The Tgard K52 phase change coating virtually eliminates contact thermal resistance. The phase change coating melts at 52ºC, replacing all air-containing contact areas.
Tgard K52-1 is ideal for applications requiring insulation with optimum thermal performance.
Tgard K52-2 provides an optimal balance of thermal, dielectric and cutting properties.
Tgard K52-3 is a 3 mil MT Kapton film with optimum resistance to extrusion, cut and tear while still maintaining a high level of thermal performance.
